Lisbarnett and Lisbane are two townlands located on the western edge of Strangford Lough, four miles south of Comber, Co. Down and straddling the A22 main road from Comber to Killyleagh and Downpatrick.
Situated in the unique Drumlin countryside of East Down, it is a rural area of good farming land and undergoing significant changes associated a decline in agriculture. New housing is rapidly changing the small settlement of Lisbane into a village, facing many the problems and opportunities typically associated with Belfast urban fringe development.
